Whacko Walz’ strategy to drive high-earning, but likely Rep-voting, Minnesotans to other states is working great. And so is his strategy to attract non-working low-income people who want to live off government benefits. You can imagine what the combination does to the state’s finances. When this bozo loses the election, he will come home to a Minnesota that is woke–woke to what he really is and represents. Unlikely he can continue to get away with the crap he has pulled for years and the national Dem party is already asking how they got stuck with this buffoonish idiot, so he can kiss any further Presidential aspirations goodbye.
The latest US Census Bureau data, delivered with no fanfare to avoid the obvious being noticed–Dem-run states are bleeding population while Republican-led ones are gaining. The data covers 2023 and Minnesota lost about 8700 people to other states in that year. People coming to Minnesota were largely from other whacked Dem-run states so they know they are getting into–Illinois, Oregon, California, Michigan and Washington were the top five in people with the bad judgment to move to Minnesota. The people who left Minnesota went to conservative states, undoubtedly seeking more sane and cost-effective government–Florida, Texas, North Carolina and the Dakotas.
And of course, it isn’t just Minnesota. The pattern for the past few years continues, the big Dem-run states are losing lots of population to the conservative states. And there is no reason why that won’t continue. Unless you are a government employee or a leech who loves those Dem-run states, your opportunity for work or to build a business or to raise your kids in a good environment are much great in those conservative states. We will be moving to Iowa. It’s conservative and they are catering to Seniors. They don’t tax social security, nor do the tax any income you draw from retirement accounts. Beginning Jan 1, 2026, they are eliminating their tiered income tax system for a flat 3.9%.
good decision, Iowa has excellent governance
