Minnesota is a benighted state, run by teachers’ and other public employee unions. As usual, money is at the root of most evil, in this case campaign contributions. And Fat Timmy’s payback has been to hire even more government workers–many DEI hires, pay them far more than they could possibly earn in the private sector, and ignore incompetence or even complete failure to show up for work. Supporting this bureaucracy and all the other crazy things Fat Timmy endorsed costs a lot of money, so we now have the highest or close to highest income tax, property tax, sales tax, car license fee and any other kind of tax or fee. So there is immense waste of taxpayer dollars just supporting this bloated, like Timmy, government sector.
But Fat Timmy isn’t happy stopping there, he likes to waste your tax dollars in every possible way. So we have massive levels of fraud that gets ignored unless the feds investigate it. The feeding children during the epidemic fraud–several hundred million dollars, fraud in paying workers during the epidemic–more hundreds of millions, Medicaid fraud–as I said any kind of fraud you can imagine runs rampant in Minnesota. And of course there is the light rail fiasco–who knows what kind of shenanigans went on there. And why isn’t this fraud detected, investigated or prosecuted? Because a lot of the stolen money gets recycled to Fat Timmy and his cohorts in the Dem party. The leading fraudsters are Somalis and other immigrants and God forbid Timmy should ever go after them, since they provide lots of legal, illegal and just plain made-up votes to keep him and the other whackos in office.
What makes this particularly egregious is that everyone knows this crookedness is going on and they just keep doing it, because they know Little Timmy and racist Keith Ellison will protect them. Even the Star Tribune, the official newspaper of the Dems in Minnesota, had to take notice, because the independent legislative auditor has had enough and has gone public with the fact that she has continually raised concerns, and they have been ignored or rationalized away. Fat Timmy refused to comment but even the Strib knows the buck stops with him and he sets the tone. And the tone is, what is a few more billion stolen from the taxpayers, nothing to be concerned about, as long as I get my cut. (Strib Story)
I would like to believe Minnesotans aren’t stupid, just easily misled and lied to, but this is absurd. Now I am thinking their brains are in a state of permafrost and incapable of recognizing that they are being played for fools by the Incompetent Blowhard and his band of errand knaves.
