Regional Cases, October 14

By October 15, 2021Commentary1 min read

Dave Dixon’s latest look at regional US cases and deaths.  Recall there is a lag, sometimes substantial on CDC death reporting and these are based on CDC data.  I wish I could tell you I know what is happening and why.  It is clear that the Southeast is done for now.  The West and Southwest don’t appear to have much going on.  The Midwest, as we here in Minnesota know, and Northeast, have more case action and look less certain as a decline.  From a deaths perspective, interesting how everyone got simultaneously whacked last fall and early winter.
