Age Proportions Charts

By April 30, 2021Commentary1 min read

Here are two animations, both showing the proportion of cases, hospitalizations and deaths by age group over time.  The first shows it current week only, in other words, what was the proportion in that week.  You might expect to see the hospitalization and death changes lag a week or two behind the case changes.  The second is a cumulative view by week.  In other words, for the whole epidemic as of that week, what were the percents per age group.  Good way to see trend changes, and now to see the effects of vaccination showing up.  Thanks once more to DD.
