Understanding Death Reporting

By September 25, 2020Commentary1 min read

This has been a Minnesota and a national issue.  Deaths that are “reported” on a day didn’t occur on a day, often times they were weeks earlier.  Gives a very misleading picture of the epidemic.  This tweet and chart from the Ethical Skeptic on Twitter gives an excellent explanation of the problem.  For whatever reason this phenomenon has accelerated in the last couple of weeks.  As you see in the tweet, a huge percentage of cases being reported this week are from long ago.  Makes you wonder why and if there is some nefarious motive.
